Family photographers who have been at it for a while understand that babies need feeding, toddlers in a 'no' stage need a nuanced approach, and dads who would rather be watching the game will smile if you tell them to pull their partner in a little closer. We also understand that it's often the mom who has done all the work to get everyone's schedule, outfits, and nap times aligned so we have this one hour. So we make sure to let Mom know she can relax in this photo session: we'll take the reigns.
